  • Generator are very pleased to announce the lineup for this year’s Evolution Emerging which will see over 40 artists taking over 9 venues in the Ouseburn Valley, Newcastle. With a record 500 track submissions from emerging North East artists, we’ve taken over extra venues to squeeze in as much regional talent as possible.

  • The cream of Britain’s independent labels are to collectively try out a new (or possibly age old) marketing approach by taking their wares directly to customers in a market on Berwick Street, London next month.The first ever Independent Label Market will see many owners of labels such as Domino, Rough Trade, Bella Union and Moshi Moshi take to the streets, possibly donning a flat cap and offering the latest hot independent releases in brown paper bags for a pound a punnet.
