Bigger Beat Surgery

These sessions that are run by Wayne C. McDonald offer street level access to Generator and they take place every Thursday between 12-6pm. Appointments are free, but must be booked in advance – please contact bob@generator.org.uk

Bigger Beat has a pathfinder function for people wishing to clarify their career/musical objectives and they provide an excellent entry point for people who are unfamiliar of Generator’s work. If you are unaware of Generator’s work, or would like to find out about our other programmes that may be of use or interest, use Bigger Beat to introduce yourself.

    Musinc/Generator – ‘Bigger Beat’ (DNA) in Teesside

    Musinc has teamed up with Generator to bring ‘Bigger Beat’ to Teesside. ‘Bigger Beat’ offer musicians an opportunity to clarify their career objectives and their development and training needs. One to one sessions are available with Generator’s Wayne C MacDonald who can offer advice on:

  • Artist development
  • Management
  • Feedback on songwriting and production
  • Collaboration
  • Funding / Access to finance
  • Performance opportunities
  • Developing teaching and workshop skills

  • The next sessions will be held on the afternoon of Thursday 27 June at My Place, Middlesbrough, North Street, TS2 1JP from 1.00pm to 6.00 pm. The commercial cost of such advice sessions would be around £70, but by working together, musinc and Generator are able to offer this free to musicians living or working in Teesside – priority will be given to those working with children and young people in challenging circumstances.
